Thank you to the City of Charlestown Police Department, volunteers, and sponsors of the Sgt. Bertram 5K-9 walk/run on Saturday. Aug. 7, 2021.
The funds raised from this year’s Sgt. Bertram 5K-9 will be used to send a delegation of officers from the Charlestown Police Department to Washington D.C. to honor the memory of Det. Sgt. Te’Juan “TJ” Johnson, a 12-year veteran of the Charlestown Police Department, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on Dec. 2, 2020 after a valiant fight against Covid-19.
