TV personality Keith Kaiser (WDRB-41 in Louisville) shot live from Greenway Park on Tuesday morning to highlight several of the upcoming Founders Week events in Charlestown.
As part of the WDRB in the Morning show, guests who will be involved in Founders Week woke up early and took time to be part of the program. Among the guests were musicians (The Real Square Band, Dangerous Ally and The Mad Taxpayers), Charlestown Mayor Treva Hodges, SkyCab Promotions Balloons, Wink’s Ice Cream and the newly crowned prince (Anthony “Junior” Molina) and princess (Emerson Stutesman).

Tuesday, June 29 – Walking History Tour (at City Hall, public invited to join in person or via livestream on the City of Charlestown’s Facebook Page, 5 pm)
Wednesday, June 30 – Moore Family Ice Cream Social and Gospel Singing (Family Activities Park, 6 pm)
Thursday, July 1 – Trivia Night (Family Activities Park, 6 pm)
Friday, July 2 – Balloon Glow (tethered rides are $15 per adult, $10 per child) and Concert with Dangerous Ally playing at 6 pm, The Mad Taxpayers playing at appx. 8:15 pm (Held at the grassy lot on the corner of Monroe and Market Streets. Parking and shuttle from Community Presbyterian Church, Pleasant Ridge Elementary and Charlestown High School, 6-11 pm)
Saturday, July 3 – Movie in the Greenway, showing “The Perfect Game,” with free hot dogs and apple pie while supplies last. (Greenway Park, 7 pm)
