COVID-19 City Hall Operational Changes in Place Until Further Notice

Effective immediately, City of Charlestown officials have put in place additional operational measures in an effort to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. With cases dramatically on the rise, these measures are aimed at protecting both city staff and the public.

Please review and bookmark the following information for guidance on current City Hall operations. These operational parameters will remain in place until further notice:

Charlestown City Hall will be open by appointment only. The lobby doors will remain locked during normal business hours. Staff will be working remotely or in alternating shifts whenever possible - if you see them coming or going at City Hall, please understand that they must ensure the doors remain locked to protect the safety of other staff, and are unable to allow entry to the building without an appointment at this time.
