“Hero” is a deserved title for those who work in the health care profession. It’s been a challenging battle against the Covid-19 pandemic and the City of Charlestown wants to recognize the heroic work of our community members.
Charlestown CommUNITY Days celebrates our community with a focus on the Health Care Heroes who have helped us during the pandemic. Signs to show “Thank You” to our local health care workers are going to line the venue during Community Days (Sept. 16-18).
Yard signs are $15 each with proceeds benefiting Charlestown Beautification. To recognize someone, fill out the online form or pick up a flyer at City Hall.
In addition to the signs, a candlelight vigil will be held honoring those lost to Covid-19.
The deadline is Friday, Sept. 3 to order a sign.
Sponsorships also remain available for businesses, groups or individuals looking for a way to connect with a growing community. CommUNITY Days includes vendors, craft makers, live music, activities for children, food vendors, and more. Reach out to City Hall for more information at 812-256-3422
